Fly Fishing
While growing up there were fresh water lakes all around me with vehicle travel paths along them . My grandmother would travel these paths on her way to town. So, viewing the lake from a distance was quite regular for me. Until one day, I remember driving to the lake, exiting my car, and watching the sunset from a distance. It was almost a serene moment. You could see fish jumping from the water as if they were celebrating. The atmosphere was inviting and accepting in the late evening sun. At the time I didn't realize the joy of fishing. I was never introduced to it until years later when I was invited to go fishing by a friend. Excited about my new venture, I left from work and traveled to the local store to purchase a life jacket, rod and reel, bait, jigs, line, hooks, bucket, cork, led weights, and tackle box. My friend had just recently purchased a boat and he was eager to use it. We both were fishaholics soon. My passion for fishing grow strong over a span of approximately a year. I enjoyed playing cat and mouse games with the fish. Using tactic, strategy and a little common sense landed me a bucket of crape one evening. This desire branched off into fly fishing using bamboo canes. These are some of the finest uniquely crafted rods one could use. Fly fishing with bamboo rods makes this hobby stress free, simple try it.
